INTER
Julio Cesar - 6: Had little to deal with, but dealt safely with most of what came his way. Maicon - 6: The Brazilian suffered a few knocks that caused him to limp, but he was his usual imperious self down the right, even if his crosses were wayward. Lucio- 7: An excellent match for the centre-back, who kept Paloschi in his pocket and used his experience to deal with pace of Bianbiany. Samuel- 6.5: A decent showing from the veteran. He made a couple of key headers in a period of Parma possession and kept their offence at bay. Santon- 6: In the first-half he seemed a bit nervous and made some poor passes, giving away the ball. He settled as the match went on and did his duties for both the offence and defence. Zanetti- 8: Does this man ever stop running? After returning from Argentina's World Cup qualifiers, he was arguably the best on the pitch today. Great runs, safe in possession, and a force in the midfield. Vieira- 6: An early yellow card limited his effectiveness and he was eventually subbed off for Muntari in the latter stages. Motta- 5.5: Unable to replicate his performance from the Milan derby, he made way for Balotelli at half-time and had little impact for the home side. Sneijder- 6: Always gave his team an option, but luck was not on his side today as he misfired a number of opportunities, even if he was once robbed by Mirante in goal in the first-half. Milito- 6.5: It was a frustrating afternoon for the Argetine, who was not at his best, being shrugged off the ball by Panucci. However, he ensured the points with a classy finish at the end of the match. Eto'o- 7.5: The Cameroon star could not find space in the first-half, being marked tightly, but he was rewarded for his hard work when he found just an inch and curled the ball into the top corner from the edge of the box to open the scoring.
Substitutes Balotelli - 6.0: Added some spark to the Inter attack and stretched Parma's defence, setting up the second goal, but he missed two absolute sitters! Muntari- N/A Krkin - N/A
