After a few rejects from Everton, Manchester City finally able to persuade Everton to sell Lescott.

According to Sky News Report, the agreement is awaiting to be completed in a few hours and Lescott is currently doing some medical test. The deal is reported to be around 25 millions euro.

The first bid by Manchester City was 15 millions euro which was rejected by Everton. But everton follows a 2nd bid which was increased to 18 millions euro, which also rejected.

City's manager Mark Hughes claimed to give up all hopes in signing Lescott until Lescott himself insisted to leave Everton to join the new looks Manchester City.

David Moyes declared he was dissapointed with the signing. "I've been disappointed but I've had my say on how it's been and any more would be repeating what I've said"

The deal agreed to pay the england international 80,000 pounds per week and he is going to streghten City central defense along side a new signing Kolo Toure, who was sign this summer from Arsenal.
